There’s a lot of pressure on women as they age to appear younger than they are. Then 39-year-old Nong Guang from Thailand wasn’t immune to it. She wanted to look younger so she got a wrinkle treatment in Bangkok, where the doctor injects a filler into her forehead to smooth it out. But within a couple of years she noticed that something wasn’t right. Little waves had developed under her skin, changing shape under pressure so that Nong could make indentations in her forehead when she pushed it with her fingers.
“I had the filler two years ago but then the last three or four days it had started to hurt a lot so I went to see the doctor,” she explained.

The new doctor confirmed that the filler material in her face had gotten infected. Now 41, she needed to have another operation. The surgeon made a small incision at her hairline and that’s how it started. Watch the whole procedure in this video, from 1:53:
The whole thing lasts about 10 minutes. Doctors pulled a big lump full of pus from under her skin but at least now Nong will be healthy and pain-free, even if she’ll have a few wrinkles on her forehead!
