My grandfather recently decided to retire to a log cabin home in the woods. He had created the entire floor plans and built the house himself, which is pretty amazing. He was having a house warming party with the family and I wanted to bring something that would look great in his new log cabin house. I wanted to make it myself instead of a store bought present since he made is house. I got the idea to make a wooden branch coat rack. I thought it would look great since his house was a log cabin. I found a really good tutorial on how to make it and how to make it look great. I wanted it to look good enough to be store bought but I made it myself with branches from outside. The only other thing I did to it was I stained it with a nice wood stain. He loved his present and I must say that I looked really good on his wall.
