Chickens are born in hatcheries. Also these animals get trapped in the cruel meat industry, so these small animals have their first life day in incubator and are treated like hostile beings or machines.
They are separated from the mothers and this is awful since the chick spends the life mostly by his mom and her protection. No compassion here, only disrespect.
