This homeless man was standing near a Walmart in Houston, Texas. Do you see what he wrote on his sign? He isn’t asking for money for himself – he needs help getting his dog out of the pound.
Wilma Price saw his sign and said she had never seen a sign like that before.

Wilma didn’t have that kind of money just then. She told the man she would find out what she could do to help. First, she called the pound to make sure his story was real -it was. Then Price asked why the fee to get the dog out was so high.

Price went back and talked to the man again. The homeless man’s name is Patrick, 30. Patrick had been arrested for trespassing, and that is when his dog was taken to the pound.

She told him to keep it so he and Fred could eat dinner that night. In her post, Price said we should all try to do what is right.
Share away, people.
