6. Do a 10-minute pickup every evening. Millions of people do this, and it works great! At a set time at night everyone can take just 10 minutes to pick up the house. The first time it might take longer than ten minutes but if you continue this every night it should take no time for your home to be looking tidy!

7. Create routines that suit you. Some people hate dirty kitchens; others hate having dirty laundry. Whichever you hate the most try to make a routine of cleaning that particular thing, so you don’t get aggravated when you have a lot to do at one time.
