A pair of identical twins were devastated to hear from surgeons that their breasts could not be made to look identical. The women reportedly learned the news after appearing on the plastic surgery show “Botched.”
Anna and Lucy DeCinque, 30, of Perth, Western Australia, have spent their adult lives trying to be identical in every way, the Daily Mail reported. The two have the same boyfriend, share a bed, eat all of the same foods, and often speak in unison. The pair has also spent nearly $250,000 on cosmetic enhancements to make them look more alike, including lip fillers, breast implants, and false eyelashes and eyebrows.
The DeCinque sisters, who have been called “the world’s most annoying twins,” decided to make an appearance on the Los Angeles-based plastic surgery show “Botched” in order to make their breasts exactly identical.
However, the show’s doctors, Paul Nassif and Terry Dubrow, informed them during a consultation that perfect breast symmetry would be almost impossible to achieve in one individual, let alone two different people, and that plastic surgery would only make them look more different.
Nassif and Dubrow also told the twins that they already had small differences in their eyes, noses and chins, and were not as identical as they believed.
Anna and Lucy posted a Q&A video to their YouTube channel on June 13 in which they explained their desire to become exactly identical.
“We have always been identical … but we just want to experience everything together … we are not going to change who we are,” Lucy says in the video.
“We work together. … I feel like I don’t exist if my sister isn’t around. … You can have your opinion … but this is the way we want to live our life.”
The sisters, who are both dating 32-year-old electrical mechanic Ben Byrne, according to the Daily Mail, also discussed their plans to appear in a bikini calendar, shared details about their beauty regime, and talked about living together with their mother and boyfriend.
The twins have said that if they decided to have children, they will use in vitro fertilization to become mothers at the same time so that their bodies stay the same.
Their YouTube video has received over 2,000 views in 10 days.
