A bus driver sent a letter home with these kids. When their parents read it, their eyes filled with tears.

When kids bring a message home from school, their parents usually have a foreboding feeling and the question “What have they done now?” usually pops to mind. This is exactly what Jorge and Leonor were probably thinking when one of their children arrived home from school and pulled out a letter. But as they read the note they realized with some astonishment that it came from the little ones’ bus driver. And they only had to read the first few lines to get teary-eyed.

Some days Jackson is a little sad getting on the bus but as soon as he sees Annaliese and Jorge he smiles. Jackson has difficulties walking and it takes a bit for him to get to his seat.

Today Annaliese looked out from around her seat and said, ‘come on Jackson, you can do it’ and when we arrived at school Jorge took it upon himself to carry out his backpack!

I know you know how wonderful your children are, but I wanted you to know that it shows!

These proud parents were not expecting such honest, kind words. Most letters from school have to do with children doing something wrong. So it was all the more wonderful to get such a confirmation that they, as parents, are doing something right. It sounds like they won’t need to worry about Annaliese and Jorge!
