Therapy and service dogs are really special creatures! They are capable of doing so many things, it’s just mind boggling!
They can help blind people, handicapped people, PTSD patients etc.And now there is one more thing to add to that list. They help children testify in the courtroom.
It goes without saying that testifying must be a frightening experience for small children, and the presence of a dog can make them feel more protected, and it would allow them to open up more. Or at least it would make it easier for them to face the person who had hurt them. Karl is one such dog! Watch this video to see him in action. He’s an absolute cutie pie!!!
