Unless you on the Atlantic Coast here in Canada, you’re getting a pretty good idea that spring is finally in full bloom. Pretty soon the rain will stop and the sun is going to come out, so that means you’re going to be very exposed. Honestly, the best advice I can give you is to WEAR SUNSCREEN.
The American Academy of Dermatology recommends sunscreen with 30 SPF or higher that is water resistant and protects from both UVA and UVB rays. Don’t forget to re-apply every two hours. But, chances are you’re going to get burned, and that’s fine. Just please, please, PLEASE don’t use remedies that DO NOT work like rubbing alcohol, oatmeal, and food products on your burns.
