as a young man, I first began hearing of drugs like meth and heroin. “Not even once” was the slogan I heard everywhere. I stayed away, but that slogan wasn’t enough for some people, young and old alike.
Reading about how meth changed you, or how heroin held you in its addictive clutches and never let go didn’t stop many. I have numerous friends who have battled with the drug for most of their adult lives. It’s sad, and it’s horrifying.
