7

My mother is an avid ironer, as was my grandmother before her. Tragically, the gene did not pass to me. I guess it’s not that tragic. Who really likes ironing? It’s a necessary evil that can’t always be avoided. Yuck! Another painful chore related to ironing is cleaning the dumb iron. (Are my true feelings coming out yet?) When it has to be done, do it the easy way! Next time it is on your to-do list, try this simple hack, use regular table salt. You will be surprised by the results!

Cleaning hack 101. Be creative, use what you’ve got, work smarter not harder. Get your nasty old iron, some Sodium Chloride (table salt), wax paper, a cutting board, and your iron will be as good as new in no time!

Now that you have a clean iron you need one of these…Let’s give ‘em something to talk about. Lol. I think I should get one of these for my Grandma. She would get a kick outta it.
