Anna Rose is 19-years old. She’s a full time student, but she finds a way to work part-time at a physical therapy center because she likes helping people. She loves athletics including basketball and swimming. Anna Rose represented her country in the Special Olympics. Despite her incredible achievement as an Olympian, most people only hear the word ‘special’ and stop listening.
Now Anna Rose has joined a growing movement of people attempting to fight the stigma of Down syndrome. When people look at her all they see is her condition, but Anna Rose hopes with enough awareness she and others with Down syndrome will be seen for the beautiful people they are inside. With the help of actress Olivia Wilde, Annar Rose shows us how she sees herself.
