An Instagram clip showing a woman breastfeeding while standing on her head has generated some controversy.
Mottajuice, the woman’s Instagram user name, often incorporates her young daughter into her yoga routines, reports the Daily Mail.

Specifics regarding Mottajuice’s identity are unclear, but she is believed to be a U.S. resident. Her daughter’s name is Julie Ann, and she appears to be approximately 1 year old in the in the clip, which shows her happily suckling while her mother remains steadily balanced upside down.
At the end of the 13-second clip, Julie Ann points at the camera as her mother executes a scissor movement with her legs.
When the video was shared to Facebook by one user, she asked, “Ladies how do we feel about this?” It sparked a lively debate.
The user began by declaring: “I feel like that’s a woman who still cares about her figure, wants to work out but has a hungry baby.
Fair play to her!” She went on to say that “I breastfed my daughter for six months and would have done it upside down on my head if I felt like it.”
“There is a time and place for it,” said one male user, but did not indicate whether he thought this was the time or the place.
Another man simply declared her to be a “weirdo,” while another said he was “speechless,” though he did manage to write that one word. Another man also said, “I’m stuck for words for a change.”
Breastfeeding selflies — “brelfies” for short — have been encouraged by the United Nations, which contends that it could help overcome the stigma about breastfeeding in public, while also stressing the importance of a mother’s milk, Reuters reports.
“It’s absolutely to be encouraged,” said World Health Organization spokeswoman Fadela Chaib when asked about the brelfie fad. Christophe Boulierac, a spokesman for the U.N. children’s agency UNICEF, described it as “a golden opportunity.”
