How to Make a Rag Rug by Everyday Art

15

When I was designing the girls’ rooms, I was looking for fluffy rugs for them. The only “fluffy” rugs I could find was so expensive and the reviews were not that great. I do not want to spend a bunch of money on something that is not going to last a good while. I looked at the material and thought to myself that it could not take much to make this myself. Well, turns out I was right. All I did was tie rag strips to the holes of a carpet mat I found at a craft store. It cost me barely anything to make the rugs and it didn’t take long to make them. I was also able to pick out and use colors that went with their room theme. They looked great and worked out well. I am now working on making an even bigger one for the porch.
