Color Blind Brothers Able To See Color For First Time. Their Reactions Are PRICELESS

It’s hard for those who aren’t color blind to understand what it’s like for people who are. How can you understand something you’ve never seen?

Basically, people with color blindness aren’t aware of differences among colors that are obvious to those with normal vision. There are three main types of color blindness – red-green, the most common, blue-yellow, and total color blindness, which is rare.

While many people with color blindness may not even know they have it unless they are tested and diagnosed, the differences between what they and the rest of the human population can see can be great – they just don’t know what they’re missing.

For centuries, those with color blindness have just had to live with their condition, but new technology from EnChroma is allowing people with color blindness to see a whole new world of color.

When people who are red-green color blind put on these special glasses from EnChroma, they are able to see colors in a way they have never been able to before. The results are truly astounding.

In this video, brothers Jace and Jimmy, who are both color blind, try the EnChroma glasses for the first time, and what they are able to see brings them both to tears.

“It’s so bright. It’s so different,” says Jace as he looks at a brightly-colored beach towel.

Watching these young men experience color – and even learn new colors – for the first time is truly incredible. Click below to see it for yourself:
