After Weeks Of Controversy, Chip And Joanna Finally Makes Things Abundantly Clear

Chip and Joanna Gaines are proud parents, excellent home remodelers and unabashed followers of Christ. They have never been shy about any of these things, but after a recent controversy surrounding their church in Waco Texas, the couple felt the need to speak out.

With God in their souls and love in their hearts, Chip and Joanna talked about everything from their early personal history to their relationship with Jesus Christ.

Joanna and Chip first met while attending school at Baylor University. The couple quickly fell in love and began to plan their life together – one of the most important things on their mind was God and how He would be present in their relationship.

In 2003 they got married and a family quickly followed! Before they knew it, the Gaines were a family of six, with two beautiful little girls named Ella and Emmie, and two handsome boys named Drake and Duke.

Joanna and Chip knew they wanted to take their remodeling talents and apply it to a feasible career, so they started working with clients all over Texas. The client would purchase a run-down home, and Joanna and Chip would rush in and make it look beautiful! All in all, they remodeled over 100 homes before getting their big break!

It all began when television network executives from HGTV spotted the skill and reality show potential the Gaines had. They approached the couple and asked if they would like to start in show revolving around their spectacular work!

Of course they agreed and their hit television show “Fixer Upper” began in 2013! The show hasn’t slowed down since!

Despite their sudden rise to fame, the Gaines told the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association that they remembered what was important in life!

“Our family has made a commitment to put Christ first, a lifestyle our parents modeled for us very well. They showed us how to keep our marriage and family centered around God.

As for ‘Fixer Upper,’ we have been surprised at the impact of our faith through the show.

We haven’t been overtly evangelical, but the rich feedback we have received on family and love all source from our faith. Jesus said the world would know His disciples by their love for one another, and we’ve glimpsed this in practice and strive for it every day.”

Chip and Joanna try to demonstrate these principles in their work and in their personal life – despite what others might think about them!

Joanna knows that God is looking down at her at all time, as Christian Headlines reported:

“I…. really believe that God has a purpose for me. But he also has a purpose for you…. and on the other side of that is the enemy where he knows where to hit….

Let God speak in your life. Let his father heart come and say, ‘this is what I have for you.’ And I think that’s the key…. not believing the lies, fixing our eyes on Jesus and walking in that truth.”

She just wants others to experience the love, happiness and acceptance that comes with having Christian faith in your life!

Chip said something similar to Fox News, and it’s resonating with Christians all over the globe!

“Without God, for me, I’m not the best version of myself.”

Although no one is perfect, and Chip and Joanna still have a ton of growing to do as a couple and as followers in Christ, they are definitely people to admire!
