Rude Customer Snaps At Starbucks Barista, Returns 1 Day Later With Surprising Confession.

Take it from someone that spent nearly 10 years in the service industry, there are good days and and bad days behind the bar. One customer encounter can make or break an entire day.

But one barista’s encounter with a less than polite woman, named Debbie, at his Starbucks drive-thru is going viral for all the right reasons. The very same woman that was rude to him the day before handed him a handwritten card that describes the ‘less than cheerful encounter’ and it’s result in beautiful, heartwarming detail. Check Debbie’s letter out in the post below!

Greetings [Starbucks] Barista!

Yesterday at your drive-thru we had a less than cheerful encounter.

At no fault of yours, you were out of carriers [and] said you could not take my empty cup (trash). I was less than understanding & my manner was curt.

I need to apologize. The thought of leaving a trail of unkindness like that is so not the path I want to reflect. Not for you, not for me.

You are a young man, clearly working hard to build a future & you should be commended. Keep up your attitude of cheer & hope. Stay hopeful no matter what kind of people cross your path (or drive-thru).

[Surely], God has good [blessings] in store.

You taught this ole lady something yesterday about kindness, compassion, & staying humble.

I thank you!

God bless you today & all your todays.

The barista, Reddit user CircleAddict, posted the photo and self explanatory act of kindness to the news sharing site and it has gone viral overnight.

There are so many small ways to brighten someone’s day. You never know how far a single ripple of kindness can go! Even a smile and ‘Hello’ can make all the difference for a stranger that needs to feel loved today.
