McDonalds has become famous for recalls over the past couple of years, but this one takes the cake. A massive recall of over one million chicken nuggets was done recently, but why?
When you bite into a nugget, what do you expect to find? All white meat chicken, right? Well for one customer recently this definitely was not the case. The customer bit into a secret ingredient that was not so delicious, a piece of plastic.
“The operator of the McDonald’s chain in Japan continues to experience drama with its side menu offerings.
A piece of vinyl was found in a chicken nugget sold over the weekend at one of its restaurants in the northern prefecture of Aomori, a spokesman for McDonald’s Holdings Co. (Japan) Ltd. said Monday.”
This is not the worst discovery that has been made in McDonald’s food; there have been reports on finding everything from dead mice to human teeth. Sales are dwindling as customer support over this crude behavior is becoming less tolerable. What will be next?
