Leon Pantenburg from Survival Common Sense shows us how to build what he calls a brick rocket stove. Not only are the required materials inexpensive, it’s also pretty simple to put together.

He uses 16 bricks, which he bought for 38 cents apiece at a local Home Depot, and three 75-cent patio blocks for the base. The wilderness enthusiast explains how to properly place the bricks and it’s quite easy to follow along. Of course you’ll also need a fire starter and some wood to get it going.
